Newcastle and Gateshead CCG put together a comprehensive booklet available online full of useful information and advice on helping babies and young children when they aren't well. Produced with input from doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, and many other health professionals, it covers everything from teeth to tummies.
The information is helpfully organised into colour categories to help you work out when to call for assistance and when to treat at home. As always, if in doubt you can contact your child's GP.
