What is enter and view?

We have a legal power to visit health and social care services and see them in action.

This power to enter and view services offers a way for us to identify what is working well with services and where improvements could be made.

To carry out enter and view visits we have volunteers who have undergone training to represent us in this task.

Becoming an E&V volunteer is a chance to:

  • meet new people
  • gain useful skills and experience
  • work the hours that work for you

The team’s findings will be sent to decision-makers and can have a real impact on care. Come along as a one-off or on a regular basis!
