LGBT Cancer Awareness Workshops in Trafford

Did you know that there’s a lack of robust data about cancer in the LGBTQI+ community? Do you feel that health research doesn’t represent your experiences? Are you interested in calling for more health research to involve LGBTQI+ people?
Healthwatch volunteer supporting Pride Festival

The LGBT Foundation are working with Vocal, who create opportunities for people to have a say in health research, on a series of creative workshops. The sessions bring community members and researchers together to have conversations about cancer awareness, research and prevention in the LGBTQI+ community, for which there is a lack of data.

The next workshops are:

Bi Programme cancer awareness workshop- 30th June, online, 6-8pm

The workshop is for anyone 25+ who identifies as bi, pan or polysexual or another term that describes an attraction to more than one gender.
