"The consequences of failing to address adolescent mental health conditions extend to adulthood, impairing both physical and mental health and limiting opportunities to lead fulfilling lives as adults." *

Research by the World Health Organisation into mental health issues amongst adolescents highlights the urgent need for effective mental health services and timely care. Services are under more pressure than ever and waiting lists can span years, so an increasing number of people are turning to the Internet for help and advice.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, and in response to the pressing demand for digital support, many services are now available to access online allowing people to get help from anywhere with an Internet connection.

We want to find out more about what mental health resources are available digitally for young people and how well they work. We want to know what's there and how well it works. Our 2021 project with Kooth allowed us to better understand what they offer and identify how it can work best for its users, and now it's time to look at the rest.

So, have you used a digital mental health resource? Maybe you're the parent or carer of someone who has? We want to know what people think about the services they have used. Our survey is easy to fill in and you will not be identifiable by your answers, so you can be completely open and honest.

Help us make health and social care in Trafford better together.
