HW10: What we do – listening

We recognise the value of listening to people and making sure their voices are heard.
Text ID: 10 years of listening. A teacup sits under the final word which is underlined in pink.

At Healthwatch Trafford, our ears (and inbox) are always open! We always want to hear from you about your experiences of health and care, whether it’s good or bad.

You can contact us via telephone, email, or by using the handy anonymous form on our website!

Last year, hundreds of people got in touch, left feedback, answered questions, and joined us out and about to talk and share their stories.

We also encourage people to make their voices heard using our regular survey research. In recent years we have focused on some of the major challenges to health and social care resulting from the COVID pandemic. We’ve also looked at parental mental health, and regularly asked people what their priorities are so we can make sure we’re looking in the right places.

Feeding back doesn’t just help us- our conversations with other organisations about what’s happening in Trafford can help inform inspections, prompt training and staff awareness, and keep local concerns at the forefront of providers minds. Keep on talking, and we will keep on listening!
